The Splendid Legacy of the House of Habsburg

This project reimagines the official exhibition poster by organically connecting paintings from different periods within a single composition. Works from diverse historical contexts are carefully arranged to create a natural visual flow, allowing viewers to grasp the overall atmosphere of the exhibition at a glance. Decorative frames, background patterns, and a carefully curated color palette help preserve the exhibition’s distinctive character, while typography is intentionally kept minimal so that the artworks remain the primary focus. Color variations were also explored to demonstrate how different moods and visual impressions can emerge from the same composition.
